INSiGHT Scanning
At our practice, we use INSiGHT Scanning as part of our commitment to providing precise, neurologically focused Chiropractic care. These non-invasive scans allow us to assess how well your nervous system is regulating and adapting to stress, giving us valuable insights into your health.
The three different INSiGHT Scans we use are:
-
This measures subtle changes in temperature along your spine, which is affected by blood flow (vasodilation or constriction). With this information we can apply it to the organs supplied from those regions to see where your body might need more support.
-
The NeuroPulse uses Heart Rate Variability and Skin Galvanic Response to determine how much battery reserve you have, and the balance of your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. Are you stuck in fight or flight mode, or are you exhausted?
-
Surface Electromyography is used to measure the electrical activity of the muscles of your spine. Where are you wasting energy with your posture?
Combined, all of these scans give you a score of how well your nervous system is operating and your body’s ability to handle stresses and adapt.
Your nervous system controls everything in your body, including how your organs and tissues function. The thermal scan specifically measures temperature differences along the spine, which helps us understand how the autonomic nervous system - particularly the part responsible for organ and gland function - is working. Imbalances in temperature can indicate areas where the nervous system is under stress or not functioning optimally.
Unlike X-rays or MRIs that look at structure, the INSiGHT neurological scans focus on function. They are completely safe, do not emit any radiation, and are suitable for all ages - including newborns, pregnant women, and the elderly. By tracking these neurological patterns over time, we can monitor progress, see how your body is adapting to care, and tailor your adjustments to best support your healing journey.
Our goal isn’t just temporary relief - it’s to help your nervous system become more adaptable and resilient, so you can experience greater health, balance, and well-being. Neurological scanning is one of the many ways we ensure our approach is specific to you and your needs.
